"Scissors hands" collecting tickets

There was a huge crowd of people waiting to be admitted to the program all at once! The volunteers' hands were working so fast to collect and tear the tickets, you could almost feel a breeze.

Film critic Toshihiko Tawaraya attended the festival.

"This festival brings us such a great variety of films. I really enjoyed them very much. In this program, there weren't many films with a lot of computer graphics, but the special program showed some of the other possibilities in short films. I think that is very important. To tell the truth, I myself was hoping to see some horror films or slasher films, but I did see an unexpected slasher film directed by Mr. Scorsese, which satisfied me."
