International Short Shorts
We are presenting rare films, which have never been screened before in Japan. This year, we found some great short films that each incorporate dance in a unique way ? dancing sewer creatures, dancing Nazis, dancing surgeons and a dancing terrorist to name a few. Enjoy, and donft be surprised if your feet start tapping.

Short Films starring Gael Garcia Bernal & by the Director of HARRY POTTER! (B&C Program)
Continuing our 7-year tradition of highlighting the early short films of renowned feature filmmakers, we are thrilled to present short films written and directed by Alfonso and Carlos Cauron and short films starring Gael Garcia Bernal. Alfonso and Carlos have collaborated on shorts and features, including the Academy Award R-nominated Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN, before Alfonso went on to Hollywood to direct HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN. Gael Garcia Bernal, who began attracting international attention for his turns in AMORES PERROS and Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN, began his career in TV and short film. His star power shines through in these impressive early works.

We are proud to present a new film by Hiroyuki Nakano (last year's gSuper Dry Awardh winner) titled gTHE SECRET SHOW,h which Hiroyuki funded with the scholarship awarded to him in 2004. The film stars Jun Kaname, and it also will be screened at SSFF in Astro Hall.
