Ester's going swimming!  The outside grey world magically transforms into a weightless paradise once she dives in.
Pernilla Johansson / Pernilla has enjoyed an interesting and eclectic career.  From 1979 to 1990 she worked as a model, then studied and worked as a journalist.  After taking a break for marriage and raising two boys, she returned to journalism co-founding the women magazine Hennes.  She began script writing in 2000 and in 2003 founded Tinroof Productions.  She’s currently writing TV commercials as well as two feature film scripts.

Youngster

A twelve-year-old drug dealer gives a piece of crack cocaine to a pushy addict without getting paid first.  Now he must find a way to get his money.
Will Canon / Will Canon is an honors graduate of New York University’s film program. While at NYU, he wrote and directed the award-winning short films “Roslyn” and “Doctor Muffins”, which have aired all over the world on cable television. Will was recently selected to participate in the new director’s program Fox Searchlab, where he made “Youngster”. Will is currently developing feature-length versions of “Roslyn” and “Youngster”.

Two lovers can't live with each other but ultimately can’t escape each other either.
Matej Purg / Matej comes from a diverse background – born in Slovenia, raised in Germany, he moved to New York after graduating with a Master’s degree in Film Studies.  Eventually he landed in advertising and later in commercial production. Turning 30 made him rethink his life’s choices and Matej finally got out of his funk and made a short film, “But Then Again”.

An old man lives a lonely life under the dark shadows of  industrial smog. One day he receives a mysterious package.
Till Nowak / After finishing school in 2000, Till founded the media agency “frameboX” in Mainz, Germany.  Meanwhile he studied media design, receiving a diploma in 2005.  Between 2001 and 2005 Till screened works at numerous festival and received many awards, including the digital media design award, first prize at the goEast Festival of Wiesbaden, the OFFF Festival Barcelona, and Prix UIP Ghent.

The remains of an ancient circus can still be seen on the outskirts of a big city.
Igor Legarreta and Emilio Pérez /Both Igor Legarreta and Emilio Pérez were born in the city of Bilbao.Graduates in Audiovisual communications from the University of Basque , this directing due has been jointly writing and directing since 1994.  Their early video work won several awards are various festival.  In 1999 they completed their first all film production “El Trabajo” which won awards at the the Locarno and Montpellier Festivals.

Adam buys a cloning machine on ebay and clones himself. He hopes his clones will tidy his place up, but he soon discovers they are just as lazy as he is.
Chris Waitt /In addition to writing, directing, and composing and performing the music for “Dupe,” Chris Waitt also performed the lead roles of Adam and all twelve of his clones.  A long-term collaborator with producer and writer Henry Trotter, their previous work includes a short film about a school which teaches practical joking and a film about badly behaved puppets which won a prestigious Golden Rose of Montreux in 2004.  Chris and Henry are currently developing several projects: an adult puppet show called “ Furry Avenue ” for MTV, a series called “Sofadelica” based on Adam the slacker, and a feature film about a talking Gorilla.
