Shimizu and Toyoshima's insistence on using the medium of short films along with their clash of talent fused together causing a chemical reaction that created the "YOU-REI TAI UCHU-JIN" series. In 2003, vol.1 and 2 were shown at Cinema Shimokitazawa (now known as Cinema Artone Shimokitazawa). Although they were only screened for a mere 2 weeks as a midnight showing, the theatre was always packed and it was a huge success. The story then transformed into a midnight drama on TV Tokyo called "The Great Horror Family" and in 2006, the long-awaited 3rd volume, which hard-core fans have longed for, was finally completed! The battle of ghost vs. alien, depicted in two different styles - which will you root for?
