A dream collaboration between SSFF & ASIA 2008, a major film festival in Asia and "BIZ-R" content bank, a membership organization formed to support filmmakers, has come true! There will be a special event featuring storytelling WEB-CF (commercial films) created by the young and fresh filmmakers registered with Biz-R. These films, which may be described as a “progressed version” of short films, will all have a common theme, “SSFF & ASIA”! For example, “SSFF pops up in a love story of two cats…?” or “a mysterious being who saves the Earth puts on a huge spectacle at the SSFF site…?” Using CG, animation and/or live action, creators will take their stories in the most surprising directions!
To top it all off, experienced filmmakers who know everything about short films and commercials, including FROGMAN, the creator of “Eagle Talon Secret Society”, will make an appearance. Heated talk about the future of short films and WEB-CF can be expected. The guests will also be encouraging and criticizing, with much love, all the films selected for showing. At the end of the event, the best film, which will be featured on the official site of the film festival, will be selected. It is a most ambitious special event commemorating the 10th anniversary of the film festival for everyone to enjoy!
