With his own original style "Live-mation," Nakao created his piece "Steam Supervisior" and won the Grand Prize of the MTV Station-ID contest. In 2000 at the Cannes Advertising Festival's New Directors Showcase (Sponsored by Search & Search), he was chosen as one of the eight hot new directors in the world. In 2004 at the Short Short Film Festival, his film "Zero" received the Grand Prize, Judges Award, and Student Judges Award for a triple win.
In 2005 he made "The Secret Show" as a scholarship piece. In 2007, he made his film "Line" with the organization "Young Filmmakers Promotion Project 2006," which was commissioned by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. Currently the DVD for his original drama "Zero" is scheduled to be released on May 23, 2008. He is also making progress with new projects in various media and is the competition chairman for "Tokyo Only Pic 2008."

Born in Tokyo on October 6, 1988.
Maki Horikita made her screen debut in 2003 in "Cosmic Rescue: The Moonlight Generations" directed by Shinsuke Sato. As a model, she has appeared in many commercials including ones for Fujifilm, Suntory, Lotte and Shiseido. In 2005, she moved into the limelight with her role in a NTV drama, "Nobuta wo Produce". The same year, she was cast in "Always - Sunset on Third Street" (2005) directed by Takashi Yamazaki, and her performance in the movie won her many Best Newcomer awards including the 29th Japan Academy Awards. She has continued to act in a wide variety of roles, including the lead role in a TV drama,
"Hanazakari no Kimitachi - Ikemen Paradise" (Fuji TV 2007). She also starred in "Kurosagi" (2008), a film directed by Yasuharu Ishii, and is currently starring in NHK's historical drama, "Atsuhime".

After graduating from Cornell University's Aeronautical Engineering department, Chew worked for Motorola in the US and Japan, Laetus' Engineering department in Germany, and Dow Jones and Company in Tokyo and New York. He has worked as a Business Director, and as an International Sales Director concurrent with his role as a Project Development Director.
In 2005 he assumed the office of President of AXN Japan. In 2007 he assumed the office of Executive Producer of the Online Project Division of MSN Media Network. Chew is working with the Short Short Film Festival with MSN Video's newly developed image contribution site "Soapbox."
