Opening Event

The opening press event was held on June 15 at Laforet Museum, Harajuku and Mr. Seigo Tono (Chief Director) introduced the outline of the festival and this year's special line-ups. The Founder of the festival, Mr. Tetsuya Bessho came to greet and to announce this year's Spotlight Award; the omnibus short film project created by 6 talents, "R246 STORY". The 6 talents, Tadanobu Asano, Shido Nakamura, Genki Sudo, VERBAL (m-flo), ILMARI (RIP SLYME), and Yusuke Santamaria paid a surprise visit and they all received the trophy for their achievement.
