Housewife and part time factory worker Sachiko meets Rui, a strange young girl at work. Rui invites Sachiko to a club where she finds that the girl is the main act as a pole dancer. She is immediately captivated by Rui but she is confronted with a tragedy.

Director : Amato Jinnai 44-year-old Amato lives and works in Sapporo. As a student he created an avante-garde film with an 8mm camera. 20 years later he created an amateur film club. As a "weekend filmmaker," he is seriously shooting for a classic comedy film.

Director : Takeshi FujitaKen studied theater and began producing his own films in 2000. In 2005 he began work on the Tollywood independent feature film "Saigo No Mori." "Hamon" is his 4th independent production.

In doubt about how people's actions can affect it. A theme that was much too vast & easy to let pass by. After asking myself everyday "what could I do?," I began an energy-saving lifestyle.

Director : Natsuko SakaiAfter starting work at a film production company, Natsuko showed her potential as assistant director in making documentaries. She is teaching herself nonlinear editing. Currently she is working in an office while at the same time free-lancing as editor and in production.

A curious bird that sings a strange song. The central character has never seen the bird but is convinced that it is the cry of a bird. As he buries himself in the world of the novel that he is writing, we see the blurred daily life between reality & fiction.

Director : Jungo MotosugiJungo was born in 1973. After graduating from university with a degree in philosophy, he began studying at Image Forum and Visual Arts Techno Academia. He currently represents the production group Jump Cinema (http://jumpcinema.com)

A taxi driver who is determined to commit suicide and a woman who lost her parents when she was very young and is determined to live no matter what meet one night in Tokyo. Two men appear who call themselves "Death," and advises them that their lives are already pre-determined.

Director : NarioNario has directed many music videos and DVD's for punk rock bands and has also worked as a director for TV and film. Nario also made a controversial documentary about the realities of the music business titled "Sayonara no Meibamen."
