Richard Taylor of Weta Workshop has worked on some of the greatest box office hits of recent times including ‘Avatar’, the ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy, ‘King Kong’, and ‘District 9’, as well as also working on low budget New Zealand feature films. He will be discussing how to think creatively when developing VFX on a more limited budget.

One of the founders of Weta Workshop, Richard Taylor, will discuss how he draws on his 25 years of feature film experience to develop strategies for film and TV productions for more modest budgets. Using specific examples from a number of films, especially ' District 9 ' and from their TV shows 'Jane And The Dragon' and 'The WotWots', Richard will demonstrate how he and his team have developed techniques and strategies for delivering high end results with modest resources.
