Winner's Comment
First of all, I wanted to thank all the people and volunteers involved in such a wonderful film festival as it is Short Shorts. It's definitely one of the best short film events I've ever attended in one of the best cities in the world. Tokyo is a unique experience and in this six days, I have discovered not only a wonderful place, but wonderful people from Japan and around the world, from filmmakers to the organization staff and all the helpful volunteers from the Short Shorts Film Festival.

I was really moved by the interest and support of local people in the Q&A sessions about my film, it was simply wonderful to meet so many people around these sessions with such an interest in the production process and the storytelling.

Receiving the award for the best CG animation was a totally unexpected surprise, specially considering the quality and amount of the other films in the same category. I was really touched by the words from the jury about their decision to give the award to Bendito Machine V and it gives me the necessary strengths to keep telling stories about humans and their relation with their holy machines. Arigato gozaimasu Short Shorts Film Festival!
