Born in 1987 in Tokyo, and graduated from Waseda University, Eiki Yasuda directed two shorts "Kigurumi Joshidaisei" and "Short Cut Fun Club", which were screened at various festivals including Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival.

Saitone is a pioneer in the chiptune industry, creating 8bit pop sounds from handheld video games. In 2008, his first album Overlapping Spiral was released to great demand from ardent chiptune and club music fans.
