Ben Suzuki

Biography

Ben Suzuki was born in Tokyo in 1965. He is a self-taught filmmaker and started his career in production for music videos and TV commercials. In 2001 he became a freelance commercial director and was involved with the project for "Midnight Eagle" (2003) which received a Nihon Eiga Angel Award. "A Day in the Life of Beijing Hutong" is his first short film production.

Hiroshi Okuda

Biography

While studying at the Tokyo University of Arts, Hiroshi Okuda entered his film "Grandma" in the Puppet Animation Festival. The festival helped him gain an admirable reputation as an artist and opened the doors for him to study film overseas through NYU's Exchange Program. His film "Origami" was shown at Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2006.

Junya Nishioka

Biography

Born in Shizuoka, Japan. A graduate of Musashino Art School. Junya majored in oil painting.. A multi-talented animation director, he writes, directs and animates all of his work alone.*Many of his animated characters, Oyaji, chiwawaworld, Dancing Poodle are popular in Japan.
