"The Catcher on the Shore"

 Ryugo Nakamura, a 15-year-old junior high school student, wrote and directed his first feature “Yagino Boken (The Catcher on the Shore)”, which is now being shown at Brillia Short Shorts Theater, Minatomirai, Yokohama till January 31.

 

This amazing piece originated from his successful short “Yagino Sanpo (GOAT-WALKING)” which was nominated for “Let’s Travel! Project” of Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2010, and which was selected as the Special Presentation Short by the Japan Tourism Agency.
