Katerina Filiotou
Director Katerina Filotou was born in Athens, Greece in 1965. She graduated from the University of Athens School of Law, and in 1989 she earned a degree from the Stavrakos Film School where she studied directing. For the past ten years, she has worked as an assistant director. "Listen . . .," her second short film, screened in the international competition of the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival and won the Union of Greek Film Critics Award and Honorary Distinction at the Drama Film Festival.

Savvas Karydas
Born in Volos, Greece, Savvas Karydas is a graduate of the Eugenia Hadjikou Drama School. He continued his studies in television and film at ARTTS International in Yorkshire, England. In addition to "America," Savvas has directed the short films "Talk to Me Like the Rain" (1993) and "One Voice-One City" (1996).

Alexios Riglis grew up in Greece. He is studying film at the London College of Printing and is expected to graduate in June 2004. The short documentary film "Chryssa" is his first film. He is now working on the pre-production of his next short, a fiction film called "The Make-up Artist." "Chryssa" has screened at the Short Film Festival in Drama (2003) and Visions du Reel in April 2004.

Dimitris Emmanouilidis
Dimitris Emmanouilidis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1976. His whereabouts have been unknown ever since. "Destroy All Brains!" took 15 months to complete and features a well-known Greek actress, Anna Maria Papaharalambous. Dimitris' first short film, "Coffee Shop," was completed in 1998. Dimitris is currently in pre-production on "Locatier," a science fiction/thriller. "Destroy All Brains!" won a Special Prize for Short Film from the Greek Ministry of Culture State Film Awards in 2003.

"Meat" has screened at the Hamburg International Short Film Festival in Germany, Cinematexas in the USA, the Stockholm Film Festival in Sweden and the Drama Short Film Festival in Greece.
