The Takana ryokan (inn) is a long and well-established inn that has been operating for over 40 years. It is well known as the inn used by historical novelist Ryotaro Shiba. Families & groups use the inn proper but there is also a youth hostel that is a separate part of the inn and is popular among single-travelers and students.
