A Woman Who Acts

Akira is an old man with little time left to live due to illness. He has a young and beautiful wife, Yoshiko, who tries to take him outside to enjoy his last days. She looks delighted as Akira gets weaker and weaker. What are her true intentions?

Stage name: Gori (member of Garage Sale) He was born in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture on May 22, 1972. After dropping out of the theater course at Nihon University College of Art's Department of Cinema, he formed the comedy duo Garage Sale with his junior high school classmate Hiroki Kawada. He appeared mostly on TV programs, and in 2005, got his big break with the character ""Gorie."" He participated in the 56th edition of the prestigious Kohaku Uta Gassen as a singer. He has since expanded his career as an actor, and played the role of the main character's older brother in the NHK TV series Churasan. Then in 2006, he made his directorial debut with the short film Detective Bogie. His work Born, Bone, Boon (2016) won the Japan Competition Grand Prix at the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & ASIA) 2017 and the Audience Award at the SKIP CITY INTERNATIONAL D-Cinema FESTIVAL 2017. His second feature film, Born, Bone, Born (2018) was a record-breaking hit in Okinawa Prefecture and also well received at the Moscow International Film Festival and the Shanghai International Film Festival. The film also won the Audience Award at JAPAN CUTS in New York and numerous other awards at international film festivals.
