Today’s second program, A&J-F program, we welcomed Dir. Seuk-hwan Kim of “His name is Trevor” (Korea) and Dir.Alfonso Torre Ⅲof “Bonsai” (Philipine)on the stage.
Dir. Kim shared some interesting episode, such as the reason to pick up the theme “Fear”, the film in which he acted and directed by himself got a great review from his friend, so he decided to remake, and he really loved the narration his Japanese friend did for him and so on.
Dir. Alfonso also revealed how he came up with the idea of this film. It was when he was drinking with his friend, his friend told him about his hobby, Bonsai, and he was inspired by that.
Those two directors are coming back to the theatre on 18th!
