The ceremony to open the film festival.
The opening ceremony, which marks the beginning of screenings at the Tokyo venue, will kick off with an outdoor red carpet event! Following the red carpet ceremony held at the Takanawa Gateway City Plaza, the official opening ceremony will feature a variety of distinguished guests including festival president Tetsuya Bessho, Shunji Iwai, and Oh Man-seok.
The event will include the announcement and presentation of several awards such as the TAKANAWA GATE CITY AWARD, J-WAVE SOUND OF CINEMA AWARD, Global Spotlight Award, and the Popularity Award. Additionally, new short film projects will be announced, and selected short films will be screened.
