A night shift becomes a fight for survival when Midnight, ex-gang leader turned taxi driver, crosses paths with badass young trucker Kaede. She’s on the run from an evil assassin and his psychotic puppet sidekick. They’ve been commissioned to wipe her out, just like they did to her father, but she stubbornly refuses to give up her turf and bow out.
Risking his life, Midnight helps Kaede escape in a high-speed chase through the neon-lit streets of Tokyo. As tires squeal and engines roar, their enemies close in. But Midnight has a secret weapon: the ‘Fifth Wheel’ of his taxi.
