A long-time tea farmer in Sasebo travels all the way to Shibuya to see his old friend. His son and daughter-in-law await him, worried, in Sasebo. Despite being bewildered by the changing townscape of Shibuya, he manages to navigate, meeting Jacob, a foreigner, and a junior high school student, Shun, along the way.

Kohei Hirota

Kohei Hirota was born in 1992 and graduated from the Department of Cinema, Nihon University College of Art. He worked in commercials, music videos, and the movie industry, directing. He has been active as a freelance director, videographer, and editor since 2020. His previous short film Falling in Love with A# was officially selected at 25 national and international film festivals such as SSFF & ASIA and Cinequest Film & Creativity Festival.
