Robert Higgins & Patrick McGivney

Robert Higgins and Patrick McGivney are an award-winning Irish director/producer duo from Longford. They founded the film company Harp Media in 2018. It has been awarded funding from Screen Ireland, BAI, Arts Council and Creative Ireland. Robert was selected as a participant on Screen Ireland's Advanced Producers programme. The company was awarded runner-up in the Longford final of Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur in the Best Idea category in 2018 and Best Startup category in 2019. They were recognized at the 2022 Irish Early Career Awards for achievements in Creative Media. In 2023, Robert and Patrick were profiled in the Irish Independent’s 50 Rising Stars list. Their second feature ‘Bonfires’ is in development with Screen Ireland and they are also developing a number of film and TV projects.
