In Northern Japan's rural farming villages in the 1950s, there was a custom where a bride was carried in a horse-drawn sleigh to get married at the end of winter. Ten years after the war's end, it depicts how rural societies gradually liberated themselves from their strict conventions.

OSAKA Yoshiro was born in Hokkaido and moved to the US at 18 to study filmmaking at the City University of New York. His short A Little Circus (2021) was nominated for the Golden Goblet Awards at the Shanghai International Film Festival.
