One day a dog named Moti turns into a boy. Shocked, Moti’s human masters take him to the hospital to find out what is wrong. Science intervenes: Moti starts to evolve. But in becoming fully human Moti loses something vital along the way: his doggy sense of smell, his canine way of navigating the world.

Yash Saraf

Yash Saraf is an Indian filmmaker from Kolkata, West Bengal. He graduated from Stanford University in 2017 and worked as a screenwriting assistant to critically-acclaimed directors like Anand Gandhi and Sooni Taraporevala. Yash is currently pursuing a Directing Fellowship at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Moti is his debut short film.
