When Palestinian father Mohammad leaves for Gaza after a decade in Norway, his daughter Mai confronts their emotional distance, unraveling the scars of his 20 years of imprisonment in Israel. Upon his return he shows her letters he wrote in prison and they slowly begin to acknowledge old wounds.

Mohammed Fares Al Majdalawi

Mohammed was born in Gaza, Palestine. He has a masters degree in documentary film from Stockholm University of the Arts. His films have been broadcasted at Al Jazeera Documentary. He is currently working on his debut feature documentary Out Of Place which has pitched at Cannes Docs and Hot Docs.
