Alice Saey
Alice Saey is a Franco-Scottish graphic artist and animation director. She draws with Indian ink, often in Paris, mostly in Rotterdam. Her work focuses on poetic and graphic forms of narration, in the fields of design and film. She graduated from a graphic design Masters in HEAR. Flatastic, written by Léa Perret and produced by Miyu. She has collaborated with various clients including Arte, Centre Pompidou, Socialter. Alice enjoys taking part in the international animation discussion as a jury member and lecturer. She co-founded Tinsel studio, a Rotterdam-based collective dedicated to the production of contemporary animation.

She has collaborated with various clients including Arte, Centre Pompidou, Socialter. She will also be drawing 20 m2 of murals for the new metro station La Courneuve Six Routes, as a part of the Grand Paris Express project. Next to her artistic practice, Alice enjoys taking part in the international animation discussion as a jury member and lecturer. She recently co-founded Tinsel studio, a Rotterdam-based collective dedicated to the production of contemporary animation with fellow animation directors Nienke Deutz and Wiep Teeuwisse. In 2023 they started curating Shorts from the Second Floor , a series of animation screenings in their studio, with the aim to strengthen the animation culture in their city"
