Daood Alabdulaa, born in the Syrian desert to a Bedouin family, fled to Germany in 2014 after protesting during the civil war. Since 2020, he has studied directing at HFF Munich, focusing his films on social issues, particularly those related to the Middle East.

Louise Zenker (*1994, Franconian province) has been studying feature film directing at HFF Munich since 2021. She believes in the positive power of storytelling and hopes to bring characters to the screen that get overlooked a lot and / or touch on feminist and political topics.
