October 23 – Talk Seminar Report “Short Films and the International Market: Strategies to Expand the Value of Your Work”

At this seminar, Aki Isoyama, who has extensive experience in buying and selling films at international markets, provided insights into the realities of marketplaces, business negotiations, and the fundamentals of contracts, while also showcasing successful short film examples that have gained international attention.
Film festival producer Ryutaro Abe introduced LIFE LOG BOX, a new platform developed by the festival, and discussed the potential of next-generation matching platforms for creators.
In addition, festival director Shoko Mukasa analyzed the roles and mechanisms of markets within international film festivals. From a global perspective, she shared practical knowledge and tips on how emerging filmmakers can effectively present their work and enhance its value on the international stage.
