2025.10.26
The autumn edition of the International Short Film Festival was in full swing on Saturday, October 25, featuring a full day of talk events, screenings, and Q&A sessions.
In the venue lobby, visitors enjoyed interactive booths by Sony Block Solutions Lab, Shimauma Theater, and Immersive Lab, offering unique hands-on experiences.

During the non-stop screening program, directors Briah March (Peekaboo, New Zealand), Moara Passoni (My Mother Was a Cow, Brazil), and Putri Sarah Amelia (Adult Unease, Indonesia) took the stage to discuss their films’ production backgrounds and share their perspectives as female filmmakers.

To close the day, the festival hosted the world premiere of two short films from the “Yuuka Sugai Short Stories” project, starring Yuuka Sugai—the first captain of Keyakizaka46 / Sakurazaka46, now active as an actress in film and television.
Directors Son Myona and Takumi Matsuo joined Sugai for a special talk session, drawing a large audience to the venue.
