Meanwhile, the SSFF website reporting team was busy at work, completing
its second round of interviews which will be on the SSFF website soon.
Reporter Takako Yoshida asked directors during their screenings about
their films how they came up with their ideas, about the locations and
actors they chose, what their approaches to filmmaking are, in addition
to many other questions and found out some interesting information.
"I like the old-fashioned approach", Brooke Keesling said of the thousands
of pictures she drew for her film, Boobie Girl, and then using some rather
antiquated equipment to film her drawings. But she does plan to use some more
modern machinery for her next project.
