Hey Everyone. Well we're already @ the point where every year it seems I start to think What! it's over already?! Asia International & Japan - B followed the WETA seminar & we had appearances by Sang-joon Park for "A School Rep" & Tatsuya Jingao for "Message."
Sang-joon told the audience that he couldn't make the short now with the same cast because the lead actors all have become very popular now in South Korea & he couldn't afford them! Tatsuya told us the for a key scene in his short, he had the lead actor scream in frustration at the top of his lungs at a busy riverside park. He was sure that this would draw unwanted attention & he'd have to stop but he managed to get away with it.
Whew! Directors on a tiny budget must use any trick to get what they need for their films. 2 more programs then it's off to the races with the final day of programming!
