Director : Naomi Kawase

Naomi Kawase is a filmmaker based in Nara, Japan where she also was born and raised. She became the youngest filmmaker to receive the Camera d’Or at the Festival de Cannes with her first feature, Suzaku (1997) and she has also won the Naomi Kawase is a filmmaker based in Nara, Japan where she also was born and raised. She will direct an opera, “Tosca” this autumn. Naomi Kawase exhibition will be held at Pompidou Centre in Paris until 6 weeks from 23 November, 2018. She is currently working on making new film “Vision” (Juliet Binoche appears).
