The COIN
A middle-aged telephone kiosk owner abandoned 10 years ago by her partner because of her infertility exists in isolation. Cast aside by society, she’s proud and stubborn; if they are cold towards her, she’s colder still. But one day a stranger, a little girl, comes to make a call.

Independent director in mainland China, graduated from BFA (Beijing Film Academy) majoring in directing profession, with working experience in multiple areas including real estate, international communication, film & TV and etc. Served as the director of documentary in Sports Life on CCTV5 for 4 years, freelancer and independent director now, has transferred to feature creation. Her short feature The Coin which has been admitted into six international film festivals including Hong Kong International Film Festival, has won 13 awards at home and abroad including the best actress award on Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia.
