Takeshi Tanaka

Born in 1982. After graduating from Keio University, he worked at Hakuhodo Inc. for five years. He subsequently completed the Graduate School of Film and New Media at Tokyo University of the Arts and founded Koto Production, a content planning and production company. He engages in the production of TV commercials, promotional videos, dramas, and documentaries, employing a "total direction" approach that transcends the boundaries between producing and directing. Whether working in fiction or documentary, he prioritizes authenticity in his visual storytelling. He is currently researching a proprietary concept known as "Creative Left-Brain Theory." He is a former Associate Professor at the University of Miyazaki's Faculty of Regional Innovation (2016–2020).
