Shinjini and Sunny are Mumbai-based actors and filmmakers, both graduates of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. Sunny is widely recognised for Aspirants, The Railway Men, and The Family Man. Together they founded It’s a Sunny Day Films, focusing on authentic, honest, character-driven stories.

One of the most attractive & unique aspects of the film is that Sunny and I (Shinjini) wrote, directed, and acted in it together. We are also a couple in real life, so the film became a kind of artistic extension of our collaboration as partners. That closeness allowed the storytelling and performances to feel very honest and intimate.
