Set in Makoko, Africa’s largest floating slum, where various social issues are unfolding in real time. We are conducting ongoing filming with an eye toward producing a feature-length documentary. This short film serves as the introduction to that project. Without narration, a small film crew entered the slum and filmed while taking full advantage of their mobility. By following the protagonist, Mr. Morita, and capturing the events and conversations he experiences at close range, we aimed to create a film that allows the audience to relive the experience as if they were actually there.
