The ceremony to open the film festival.

Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2024
For the Opening Ceremony of the festival to mark the beginning of screenings at Tokyo venues, festival president Tetsuya Bessho, festival ambassador LiLiCo, along with special guests Yudai Chiba, Sota Fukushi, Win Morisaki will take to the stage to announce the Global Spotlight Award, the U-25 Project, and the J-WAVE SOUND OF CINEMA AWARD. We will also announce various awards such as the Cinema Award and the Amic Sign Award. Various projects for new short films will also be announced as well as screenings of short films. The film festival’s highest award, the George Lucas Award (Grand Prix) will be announced at the Award Ceremony on the final day of the festival.
