Born in 1988 in Tokyo, Japan.
In 2018, he made his theatrical debut with his first feature film Clingy Girlfriend, which set a late-night screening attendance record at Ikebukuro Cinema Rosa. Following a nationwide tour in 2019, the film returned for a special encore run.
His feature There is a Landing on the Stairs. (2022) became a smash hit. His subsequent film Take me to Another Planet (2023) was officially selected for the Asian Future section at the 36th Tokyo International Film Festival, and went on to achieve a long theatrical run at MUSASHINO-KAN SHINUKU, as well as screenings at over 60 cinemas nationwide.
Other works include Yoyogi Jonny's Depressing After School. His upcoming film Vacances begins is currently awaiting release.
