SHORT SHORTS FILM FESTIVAL & ASIA 2009

Eight-year-old Alex sets out on a journey to find a place he can belong to. Meanwhile Ichiro is traveling to find himself. The two, by destiny, meet in the desert and take a little step together.
This short film was planned, written and produced by Tsuyoshi Ihara, who also stars in it.
It was filmed in LA with an American cast and staff. Music is by Akihiko Matsumoto, well-known for the score of "Odoru Daisousasen The Movie".

A boy finds a shiny marble, and knowing that it belongs to a girl, takes it home. As he plays with it, his right hand balled into a fist with the index finger and pinkie standing straight up so that it looks like a fox. The story is depicted in silhouette, in images reminiscent of a shadow play.

A man's daily humdrum, black & white world suddenly changes when he meets a flower shop girl.

A man participates in a game in order to save his mother. To play, he has to choose one of two capsules. Which capsule (the future) will he choose and what will be his destiny?

Fukae, a researcher in the pharmaceutical department of a university, is trying to develop a new medicine that would improve the right brain power. But no one takes her seriously, saying it's only a theory. In order to test the effects, she takes the medicine she is working on...
