Koji was born in Nagoya in 1964. After graduating from Tokyo Zokei University he started creating short animation using various techniques. "Mt. Head" received 6 grand prizes in festivals worldwide and was nominated at the 75th Academy Awards(R). It went on to win more than 60 international awards. His films are played internationally and he gives lectures as well.
