At the Award Ceremony, which marks the culmination of the 2026 festival, awards will be presented in the Live Action (three categories), Non-Fiction, and Animation categories—each of which qualifies for submission to the following year’s Academy AwardsⓇ, where up to five works (tying for the highest number in the world) may be nominated. The ceremony will also feature announcements of short films produced by the festival, as well as new project reveals.
