Shinjini Raval

[Profile]
Writer, Director, Producer & Actor: I’m an actor and filmmaker with a lifelong connection to the performing arts. My journey began in childhood through classical Kuchipudi dance and years of involvement in theatre, both of which shaped my early love for expression and storytelling. That passion eventually led me to train as an actor at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. Over time, I found myself drawn more deeply to the craft of storytelling, which led me to writing and filmmaking. I’ve since written and directed two films, each reflecting my evolving creative voice and personal exploration of the world around me. I want my work to reflect a deep commitment to artistic truth, emotional depth, and the nuances of human experience. Whether I’m on stage, in front of the camera, or behind it, I strive to bring a distinct voice and vision to everything I create—always seeking to connect, provoke thought, and leave a lasting impact.
