Based in Tokyo, working as a film director focused on the fusion of cinematic storytelling and AI-driven filmmaking. Initially known for directing impactful commercials that combined precise visual craft with character-driven narratives, the practice has recently expanded into narrative films using generative AI. Since 2023, engaged in research on AI-based film production and participated in multiple AI film projects, while also co-founding the AI filmmaking company GEN CRAFT. Working across live-action and AI-generated imagery, AI is approached not as a shortcut but as a cinematic language, exploring how emotion, myth, and atmosphere can be restructured through hybrid forms of filmmaking.
