The choice of stop-motion animation allows the story to connect directly with children—the primary audience—while also evoking nostalgia and reflection in adult viewers. The characters are kept close to their real animal nature, avoiding overt anthropomorphism, and the absence of dialogue makes the film universally accessible, relying instead on gesture, expression, music, and sound design. The score and audio landscape play a central role, evolving alongside the emotional arc of the story, from light and playful tones to tense, dramatic rhythms as danger looms.
