What truly intrigue us is the number of otherwise intelligent friends and family members who have become happily entangled in spiritual or Cult-style movements. This phenomenon, watching thoughtful people willingly surrender their critical judgment, is the core driving force behind this project. This is why we deliberately crafted the character Bunda Mira to be ambiguous. Is she genuinely benevolent? What are her true motives? We want the audience to grapple with these questions long after the credits roll.
