Sophea Kim

Born in post-war Cambodia, Sophea grew up amid hardship, turning to the arts for healing while studying French. She entered film in 2007 on Rithy Panh’s "The Sea Wall", later working with notable directors. After her awarded debut short "Grey Feather", she now develops films exploring society through a distinct cinematic voice.
