A key point of the film is its realistic portrayal of the quiet work of funeral professionals, who go to very difficult places that even the police may avoid, to collect the deceased and treat them with care and respect. This shows a part of the funeral industry that is not widely known. Another highlight is the performance of Takato Nagata, who studied at a funeral company and built his role through research, including watching real footage of Mr. Tomiyasu. Also notable is Hayato Ichihara, whose performance is shaped by his own experience of losing someone important and his strong dedication to learning encoffinment work.
