Jamal is a five-year-old girl who lives with her grandmother in a village. One day, she notices a woman's red heels as she enters their house. Jamal understands that this beautiful woman is her mother. Jamal gradually gets closer to her. Morning comes, and Jamal realises that the red heels have disappeared.

Alina Baitokova is a photographer and filmmaker from Central Asia, born and raised in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. A graduate of the American University of Central Asia, her work explores intergenerational conflict and female identity in Central Asia. She is part of the independent film club Tartaly, experimenting with form and storytelling.
