Asian directors gather in Okinawa

Young directors from all over Asia gathered for the JCF Asian Directors festival, part of the JCF Student Film Festival, a sub-event of the SSFF. Various young directors - Shu Kei from Hong Kong, Chan Min of China, producer Chan Eiki of Taiwan - appeared for interviews with the media as well as discussions about their works.

Staff Interview!

One of the familiar faces at our Okinawa festival is that of Kazutada Migita, a volunteer who has graciously and eagerly given his time for three years. A native of Fukuoka, he says he loves to attend the festival, and loves most of all meeting new people. "The festival has changed my life," he swears. He also has hinted that there are lot of people including himself who want to bring the festival to Fukuoka.
