We meet more film fans in Okinawa!

This is the second time Takumi Yoshida (right) has attended the SSFF and said this year was clearly different for him. "We see American movies all of the time, so we sort of know what to expect. But with a mix of coutries' films, you get a chance to see fresh new perspectives, which is great." His friend Natsuko Inafuku on the left said this the first time she's seen short films and finds them very appealing.

More fans!

Three friends who have attended the film festival in prior years said that this year's selections were a lot fresher than last. They said that the inclusion of more non-American films gave the screenings a lot more variety. After watching Program F, Mariko Nakata (on the right) said that she was so impressed and moved by Hadar Fridlich's "Grief," that she burst into tears.
