Jurors Comment - Let's Travel! Project

After watching the nine nominated films, we decided to focus on the idea of bringing things closer to the heart. With this in mind, we wanted to zero in on the film that gave you a sense of and made you think about life. We, jury members chose the winner based on the fact that we felt the winning film brought to the fore ideas of what is really most important in life that would be applicable to any individual. This film really taught us about what humanity cannot lose, and the most essential things in life that cannot be taken for granted.

In art, be it film, photography, painting, or theater, too much focus on new ideas are unintentionally given priority over content. For our selection, we picked a film which we felt clearly got its point across to the audience and was all-around masterfully crafted.
